A 640-billion-yuan ($103 billion) quota under China's renminbi Qualified Foreign Institutional Investor system has been granted to six countries and regions, according to China Securities Regulatory Commission on Friday.

China gave Germany and South Korea each 80-billion-yuan RQFII quota this month, which was the same as that received by London and Paris. It compares with the 50-billion-yuan quota for Singapore and the 270-billion-yuan quota for Hong Kong.

By the end of June, 84 outbound institutions received RQFII quotas totaling 250 billion yuan, the commission said.
