Chinese police hunt murderer of Vietnamese

NANNING - Police in south China's Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region are hunting a Chinese man suspected of murdering three Vietnamese women.

The crime was committed at around 8 p.m. on Tuesday at a rented apartment on Zhongshan Road, Fangcheng District in Fangchenggang City, said a spokesman with the district's public security bureau on Wednesday.

Two Vietnamese women were killed on the spot and one died later in hospital, said the spokesman.

He said the assailant also wounded another two Vietnamese women in the apartment but their injuries are not life-threatening.

The police have described the suspect as being in his mid-thirties and 165cm in height.
