4 Henan officials prosecuted for taking bribes

BEIJING - Four officials in central China's Henan Province have been prosecuted for allegedly taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Friday.

Wu Yulu, former president of the Yima Mining Group, is suspected of bribery, corruption, illegally possessing weapons and insider trading.

Zhu Jiachen, former secretary of Zhoukou City's commission for discipline and inspection of the Communist Party of China (CPC), is suspected of taking bribes and embezzling public funds.

Another two officials are suspected of taking bribes, including Hu Yucheng, former deputy director of Henan's poverty relief office, and Li Lieyang, former secretary of the CPC committee of Henan Technical College of Construction.
