BEIJING - Two officials from China's Gansu province are under investigation for allegedly taking bribes, the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) said on Wednesday.
Liu Baoping, a vice director-level official of the provincial commission of industry and information technology, and Zhang Shijun, former county head of Jingtai, are being probed for alleged bribe-taking, according to a statement of the SPP.
The two officials are being investigated by Gansu's Lanzhou Municipal People's Procuratorate, the statement said.
