WUHAN - Six people died in an industrial accident in Central China's Hubei province on Friday, local authorities announced on Saturday.
The accident happened at about 10 am on Friday at Hubei Zhongxinyinong Bio-energy Co. Ltd in Honghu City when five staff tried to rescue a colleague who fell into a dye pool. They also fainted, according to the Honghu municipal government, and five died at the scene. Another died on the way to hospital.
The cause of the accident is being investigated.
