Former vice-head of Liaoning investigated

Chen Tiexin, former vice-head of Liaoning Provincial Political Advisory Body has been investigated on suspicious of accepting huge bribes, according to Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP) on Tuesday.

The top prosecuting department is conducting further investigation and take immediate measures to limit him departure from China, according to SPP.

Chen's case was exposed on last July, when Chen was put under investigation by Liaoning Provincial Discipline Inspection Department for corruption issues.

According to Liaoning anti-graft department, he allegedly used his job convenience to gain huge benefits for others, including real estate and coal mining enterprises and accepted a large number of bribes, including cashes and gifts.

In addition, he was also accused of adultery, and in October, Chen was ousted from the Communist Party of China and removed from his post, according to Liaoning anti-graft department.
