BEIJING - China's Supreme People's Court (SPC) on Thursday issued a guideline on improving service in judicial matters and providing convenient access to legal information.

Sun Jungong, spokesperson of the SPC, said that some of the measures in the guideline are told in comic strips to make it easier for people to understand.

Sun said that courts will step up efforts to eliminate litigation barriers and strive to solve current problems in courts, providing a fair, efficient and clean legal environment.

As of Nov. 10, 90 percent of the courts had established twitter-like weibo accounts, attracting nearly 50 million followers, said a report on the operation of court accounts at weibo.com.

The SPC has cooperated with search engine Baidu.com and mapped out 3,496 court locations with basic information including address, post code, phone number, introduction and official website.

The SPC opened to the public on Thursday, China's first national Constitution Day.
