Stress poses a threat to the health of an increasing number of urban white-collar workers in China where karoshi, or death caused by overwork, is no longer a rare occurrence.
Statistics show work pressure has brought about the deaths of more than 600,000 Chinese employees and more urban white-collar workers than ever before suffer the ill effects of overwork.
To help alleviate the problem, white-collar workers are resorting to various methods to cope with the demands of juggling a work-life balance.
