Premier Li Keqiang met with Egyptian President Abdel Fattah al-Sisi in the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Dec 24.
Li said that China is willing to work with Egypt on a new push to forward the development of the two nations' mutual relations.
China's Silk Road Economic Belt and the 21st Century Maritime Silk Road initiatives share the same vision with Egypt's major development plans, Li said.
China is willing to strengthen cooperation in infrastructure, trade, investment, and high-technology with Egypt, the Premier added.
Li also expressed China's willingness to take part in Egypt's big projects, including high-speed railways, undersea tunnels, nuclear plants, and to enhance the Suez Economic Zone.
Sisi said that Egypt is willing to deepen its cooperation with China especially in production, investment and financing.
Egypt welcomes Chinese enterprises to participate in the country's big projects and hopes to make new achievements in its relations with China, Sisi added.
