Red Army school in quake-hit town

Students at an elementary school in Beichuan county, Southwest China's Sichuan province, eat a meal on Jan 21, 2015. Unlike their their peers in ordinary schools, students at this school wear the uniform of the Chinese Workers and Peasants' Red Army, or the Red Army. They do so because the school was funded in the name of the offspring of the Red Army and the family of revolutionary martyrs after Beichuan was hit by a magnitude-8.0 earthquake in 2008, which killed more than 69,000 people.
