7 killed in SW China scaffolding collapse
(Xinhua) Updated: 2015-02-10 09:59KUNMING - Seven people died and another eight were injured after scaffolding collapsed at a school facility in southwest China's Yunnan province around 2 pm on Monday, local authorities said Tuesday morning.
Rescuers have pulled out 15 people, with seven already dead, at a student center which is under construction in Wenshan, Yunnan.
Over 100 rescuers including firefighters, police officers and medical staff are searching for those still trapped.
