One thousand women wearing cheongsams walked the red carpet on Saturday to celebrate the upcoming 2,500th anniversary of Yangzhou city in East China's Jiangsu province, cfp reported.
Yangzhou city in eastern Jiangsu province, is a nationally renowned historical and cultural city with a history dating back to 486 BC. The city once won the UN Habitat Scroll of Honor and will celebrate its 2,500-year-old birthday this September.
