In the mid-September every year, migratory swans breeding and dwelling in Bayanbulak Wetland will move in succession. In recent days, the swans brought up in the little lake of the Bayanbulak Wetland are training the young ones in the core lake area, making preparations for their migration. In the wetland, ten thousands of precious birds dominated by adult swans come here annually during March and April and then move away in September and October, staying over six months.

It is learnt from the state-level Xinjiang Bayanbulak Nature Reserve Administration that, there are about 8,000-10,000 swans, among which little ones accounting for 3,000-3,500, in the wetland in 2015.
