Beijing 999 proves first success at FIA Formula E Championship

Beijing Red Cross Emergency Rescue Center (Beijing 999) arranged an emergency helicopter and a medical team for the FIA Formula E Championship that was held in Beijing on Saturday.

This was the first time Beijing 999 provided medical aid with a helicopter for a major international game.

Beijing 999 was granted a special air route for the helicopter from Beijing's air control authority, considering possible injuries of athletes of the championship.

Beijing 999 also reached purchase agreements with two manufacturers in the Untied States and Germany to buy helicopters, which will be used for the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics.
