Air quality
The CPPCC news conference began at 3 pm on a lightly polluted day in Beijing on Monday. Chai Jing, the former CCTV anchor, has drawn public attention to the issue of air quality with her near two-hour investigative report on air pollution. In the video, she questions government policies and appeals for the use of new energy.
With smog back in the spotlight, people expect more discussion on the topic in the coming weeks.
