A joint panel discussion by members of China National Democratic Construction Association and non-Party personages was attended by Wang Qishan, head of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection.
Wang said the CPC has taken it as a significant mission to build a clean Party and combating corruption since its 18th national congress.
The success of the fight depends on whether it wins public support and satisfaction, he said, "The ruling party must always be on the way to fight against corruption."
Joining discussion with political advisors from the science and technology sector, Vice Premier Zhang Gaoli urged to speed up innovation-led development and deepen the sector's institutional reform, in order to provide strong back-up for economic development and for improving people's life.
CPPCC National Committee members convened Tuesday in Beijing for their annual full session that is scheduled to last 10 days.
