BEIJING - Following are the schedules for the third sessions of the 12th National People's Congress (NPC) and the 12th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) on Thursday.

NPC:

-- At 9 am, the 12th National People's Congress will hold a plenary meeting. Zhou Qiang, president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC), will deliver a report on the SPC's work. Cao Jianming, procurator-general of the Supreme People's Procuratorate (SPP), will deliver a report on the SPP's work.

-- At 3 pm, NPC deputies will hold panel discussions on the draft revision to the Legislation Law as well as the SPC and SPP work reports.

-- At 2:45 pm, Zhou Xiaochuan, governor of the People's Bank of China and his two deputies, Yi Gang and Pan Gongsheng, as well as Jin Qi, chairperson of the board of the Silk Road Fund, will give a press conference at the press center of the two sessions.

CPPCC:

-- At 9 am, members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will observe the NPC plenary meeting to hear the SPC and SPP work reports.

-- At 3 pm, members of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will hold panel discussions about the two reports and other documents.

-- At 4:30 pm, chairpersons of the third session of the 12th CPPCC National Committee will meet.
