2. What can you say about the development of China in the past year?

Andrey Denisov: The development of Chinais unique. Do not always apply the criteria that foreign economists used to guide the assessment of its socio-economic development. The Chinese leadership calls China a developing country. Meanwhile, China is the second largest economy in the world in terms of GDP, and the largest on foreign trade. The scale of the challenges China had to face is impressive. For example, where else in the world can the government solve the problem of adaptation in the cities of more than 250 million rural migrants? And while the Chinese economy continues to grow steadily, you rearranged the economical structure and have kept the growth rate as a state power in a "reasonable range". Like I said, the "reasonable range" is a very high level for other countries.

If we talk about the macroeconomic indicators, we can see the most important achievement of China is stable income growth. Moreover, the growth of the purchasing power has been achieved in different regions, both urban and rural areas, for years. All these factors not only show the value of China itself, but also stimulate consumption.

Of course, the government's efforts to balance and equitably distribute income growth are very important. As presented in the report, China's rural income became more than one third of city income for the first time in 13 years. In Russian we have a saying, "The road can be defeated by walking", here I can tell, the government made big progress.

By the way, Chinese leaders coordinated the development of the towns and villages, and in 2014 they produced a concept called "New Normal". The new concept made the cities create 13 million work opportunities, which is 3 million more than planned. The government also launched the reform of resident registration, and adopted a series of measures for the development of social security, dealing with issues of pensions, education and health care. Therefore, generally speaking, if I figure out one highlight from the government report, I would like to choose the social issues.
