A wild adult panda was spotted in Huangguanshan National Park in Northwest China's Shaanxi province, China Central Television (CCTV) reported. It is supposed to be around 60 kilograms. Giant pandas are one of the world's most endangered species. About 1,600 live in the wild, mostly in the mountains of Southwest China's Sichuan province, while more than 300 live in captivity. Sichuan is home to 74.4 percent of wild giant pandas in China. Photo from CCTV's official Weibo account.
