Will China's economy maintain decent growth?
"Absolutely yes!" replied Wang Guoqing, spokesman for the fourth session of the 12th Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC) National Committee, on Wednesday during a press conference.
Wang said that growth declined last year, but from an international perspective, it was still outstanding. The general economic situation was good, he said.
Growth of 6.9 percent was a remarkable and economic data for the first month of this year has shown a positive change, according to Wang.
"The situation of the world economy is complicated, but we have always been confident of China's growth, because the momentum of China's growth has never changed, the economy's capacity and potential has never changed," Wang said.
"The growth's foundation and condition has never changed, and the economy's structure optimization has never changed."
