GUIYANG, April 29 (Xinhua) -- A total of 13 people were killed and 12 others injured on Friday after a vehicle lost control and ran into a crowd of people in southwest China's Guizhou Province.
The brakes of a van carrying stones failed around 1 p.m. in Xingyi, Guizhou. It careered through a crowd of villagers and rolled over, according to the local government.
The injured have been admitted to hospital.
