Deng Yingchao also devoted her life to women's liberation in China:
1. The Marriage Law was drafted under her leadership;
2. Deng was both a drafter and an adamant advocate of the Communist Party of China's principles for women;
3. She was also among the first people to propose a birth control policy in China;
4. She went to rural areas, factories and schools to inspect the working and living conditions of women, encouraging them to be self-reliant.
