GUANGZHOU -- Three people, who authorities think are likely undocumented migrants, were dead or missing after a vessel carrying 13 people overturned off South China's Guangdong province, rescuers said Sunday.
Ten foreigners were rescued after the boat capsized around 5 am near Neilingding Island, one body has been retrieved so far, according to an official with the provincial maritime rescue center.
The official said the vessel could be implicated in people-smuggling, but did not mention where the vessel was from or where it was heading.
Rescuers are searching for the missing.
