Can you crack gaokao? Go on, give it a shot
Chinese students usually tackle six subjects at the gaokao, or national college entrance exam, which takes place in June annually.
Most science students take Chinese, Math, English and a comprehensive one that includes biology, physics and chemistry, while most liberal arts students take Chinese, Math, English and a comprehensive one that includes politics, geology and history.
The full score for Chinese, Math and English are 150 points respectively, and for the comprehensive subjects are 300 points.
