SHIJIAZHUANG -- A landslide caused by illegal mining at a deserted quarry in North China's Hebei province has left five people dead, local authorities said on Sunday.
Another person was injured in the landslide, which occurred at around 5 am Saturday at the quarry in Fengrun district of Tangshan city, officials of the district government said.
Four people have been arrested over the accident, and police investigation is still underway.
