A retired teacher builds a miniature China map on his balcony

A 75-year-old retired teacher from South China's Guangdong province built a 100-square-meter China map model on his home's 300-square-meter balcony.

With his strong artistic ability, Cai Mingxing began the project in October, 2014. After more than a year, Cai finally finished the model of a China map, which is 30 centimeters high and 10 meters wide, with bricks, stones and other materials.

What the retired teacher did shows his gratitude to his motherland.The miniature map consists of pools, trees and vegetables and is multifunctional and environmentally friendly.
