State councilor meets Hong Kong professionals and executives
BEIJING - Chinese State Councilor Yang Jiechi on Wednesday called on professionals in Hong Kong to vigorously join the country's development strategy and enhance exchanges.
Yang made the remarks during a meeting with a delegation of the Hong Kong Professionals and Senior Executives Association, which was led by its president Chan Siu Hung.
Yang expressed appreciation of the work done by the association in participating in social affairs in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region (HKSAR), contributing wisdom to the region's development and supporting the SAR's chief executive and government in their governance.
