Astronauts on Shenzhou XI will have over a hundred dishes for the 33 days during the trip.

They will have the same dining time as people in China for three meals a day, with delicious classic Chinese dishes.

The meal menu changes every day for a 5-day period.

According to Cao Ping, vice chief of nutrition and food research for astronauts center, space food won't be expired in over a year and specially sterilized water. There's also a food heater in Tiangong II for making the food taste better.

Cao said in the future the technology could purify the urine into drinking water.
