Drug trafficker arrested in SW China
KUNMING - Police in southwest China's Yunnan Province, arrested a drug trafficker Monday, local authorities said Wednesday.
Frontier police in the city of Lincang arrested a man driving a vehicle on a highway around 10 a.m. Monday after receiving a report that the man was transporting a batch of drugs from Myanmar to China.
Police seized 35.597 kg of methamphetamine from the vehicle.
Further investigation is underway.
