5.8-magnitude quake hits Xinjiang: CENC
BEIJING - A 5.8-magnitude earthquake jolted Qiemo county of Northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region at 6:04 pm Tuesday (Beijing Time), according to the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter, with a depth of 8 km, was monitored at 37.25 degrees north latitude and 84.81 degrees east longitude, the center said in a statement.
