5.0-magnitude quake jolts Taiwan sea area
BEIJING -- A 5.0-magnitude earthquake jolted the sea area off the coast of Taidong County in Taiwan, at 9:57 am Sunday, according to the measurement of the China Earthquake Networks Center (CENC).
The epicenter was monitored at 21.43 degrees north latitude and 121.80 degrees east longitude. The quake struck at a depth of 90 km.
