KUNMING - A man was caught in southwest China's Yunnan Province for drug trafficking, said local police on Wednesday.

Police in Mojiang county of Pu'er city were conducting regular inspections on a road on Saturday when they found an unusually heavy spare tire in an SUV at 9:40 p.m.

The driver, Yin, appeared nervous while being questioned. Police then broke the tire, finding 30 bags of methamphetamine, or 21.25 kilograms in total.

Yin is now in custody and the case is under further investigation.
