A large broadcasting base for livestreaming hosts is expected to open in Wuhan, capital of Hubei province, next month.

The center, called Damara Village, covers more than 320 hectares in Caidian district and has room for around 100 hosts, according to a Changjiang Daily report.

Along with studios and accommodation, the area also features European-style architecture, such as a chapel, bell tower and wine cellar, as well as more than 20 workshops and a fans' area, Xu Tao, one of the project's investors, told the paper.

There is also room for lawyers, engineers, financial planners and other online broadcasting professionals, he added.

According to the report, students from Wuhan University's School of Journalism and Communication will use the site to carry out research on mass transmission and communication.
