In a first, graduate marries, settles down in village

They got married in Xichang in 2015 and their son was born in the same year. In 2016, Jiba decided to take his wife and son back to his hometown.
The first time Jiwu Erluo stood at the foot of the mountain, she was a little bit scared facing the rattan ladder on the cliff. Encouraged by her husband, she spent more than six hours climbing to the top of the mountain.
At first, Jiwu said she found it hard to adapt to life on the mountain.
"The village is so isolated, I felt upset," she said.
A poor telecommunication signal meant Jiwu had to walk to the edge of the cliff to make a phone call to her mother.
