China and Africa are very close partners with a common destiny and the cooperation between the two sides can bring benefits to both. China will maintain its support to Africa in any political and economic situations.
About half of the projects worth $60 billion have been completed or are in process of being built.
The Chinese-built Ethiopia-Djibouti railway has opened and the Mombasa-Nairobi railway project is almost complete. A large number of industrial parks are being built and pushed forward in many places in Africa.
Three new changes have appeared in China-Africa cooperation. First is that the cooperation model is transforming from government-led to market-dominant.
Second, production capacity is promoted rather than traditional commodity trade.
Third, investment operation is surpassing project contracting. These three changes are ushering in new opportunities and momentum to China-Africa cooperation.
