Located to the northwest of the ancient city of Dali, the Three Pagodas of Chongsheng Temple is a major historical and cultural site under state protection. With one main pagoda and two lower pagodas, the site is an icon of the ancient city of Dali. The main pagoda is 69.13 meters high and the other two are 42.17 meters tall. Built in the Tang Dynasty (618-907), the pagodas have been standing for more than 1,000 years.
