Foreign investors from 12 countries and regions including the United States, Britain and Japan showed up at the Guangxi China Investment Promotion Fair held in the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Thursday.
About 1,000 investors have expressed fervent interest in the 505 investment items from the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region in the one-day fair, and they are worth a total of 13 billion US dollars. Such items cover a vast range of areas, including transportation, energy resources, infrastructural developments and agricultural developments.

The fair has resulted in 12 investment contracts being conducted, which are worth a total of 4.2 billion dollars, in which 3.6 billion dollars came from foreign investments.

Twelve agreements were also signed on items worth 2.7 billion dollars.
