The Journey of Harmony Cultural Festival, that opened this Tuesday at the National Center for the Performing Arts (NCPA), is aimed at promoting and consolidating cultural exchanges between China and Africa, through a series of upcoming activities. The two sides will further develop cooperation in cultural exchanges and performances, art training and education, and charity programs. The NCPA and the Hainan Airline (HNA) Group also announced their strategic cooperation on this occasion, that saw officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Culture, General Administration of Civil Aviation of China, ambassadors of Angola and Sudan, and representatives of HNA and NCPA, in attendance. Hainan Airline has named a deluxe plane from its affiliated Grand China Air after the NCPA to be an envoy of art and culture. The center will hold a concert sponsored by Grand China Air in December, to spread the message of love and peace. |
