A Malaysian eatery of quirky charm

If you had an eccentric Malaysian aunt who was also a fortune teller, her living room might resemble My Nyonya Gallery, the newest addition to Dagu Lu's restaurant strip.
An eclectic mix of folk art, neon lights, silk embroidery and random plastic knick knacks gives this Malaysian eatery a quirky charm. Navigate the epic menu and find a reasonably priced selection of set lunches (RMB 26) and spicy meat and seafood dishes that are grilled, curried, stewed and satayed with coconut, chili, coriander and the laksa leaf. Try the spicy Paneng Beef (RMB 32) or the Nyonya Curry Laksa Noodles (RMB 20), which comes in a steaming bowl of spicy coconut curry soup.
After your palate has been set aflame, cool down with iced juices, coffees and desserts, like the subtle and sweet Mixed Fruit and Coconut Milk on Shaved Ice (RMB 20).
