A mix of three

Fusion isn't just for gourmet food anymore-Yeeha is a neighborhood dive that dishes up both 'American Chinese' food, and Texas barbecue. Thank god they are not on the same plate.

Americans will recognize a number of overseas Chinese favorites, though sadly served without fortune cookies. That said, for little expenditure, you can order a generous serving of perennial take-out favorites like beef and broccoli (RMB 26 a la carte, RMB 32 set), and crunchy pan-fried noodles (RMB 25).

If the honky tonk music is making you homesick, you'll find a second menu filled with typical barbecue platters (RMB 55), each served with a lackluster potato salad. The decor is similarly pan-national-framed posters of sports heroes, Texan flags, and assorted kitsch rub elbows in a dark, campy interior that seems a bit seedy even by daylight.

If the food sounds like too much of a good thing, come late and enjoy the big-screen televisions and cheap bottled beers (RMB 10-12).
