Open cafe from Australia(That's Shanghai )Updated: 2006-11-09 11:54 Dagu Lu has seen a spate of new construction recently and is all the better for it: new venues such as Frangipani, Marsala Art, La Boete o Pizza, Beedees and Hazara's Mediterranean Bakery have energized this once dull thoroughfare. As such, Cossie's, a charming Australian cafe, is one more reason to stop for a bite on your way out of Ka De Club. The sunny, open cafe (decorated with images of Sydney) features healthy lunch fare at reasonable prices, including several RMB 38 lunch specials. Vegetarians will find plenty of healthy options, such as the veggie pitas and burgers, served with soup, salad and French fries. There's even a play area for kids, which is a nice touch for those parents who wish to enjoy their coffee and Eggs Benedict in peace. With friendly staff, cozy booths and free wireless, at Cossie¡¯s you can spend an entire afternoon, well, rather cozily. Food: 3/ Service: 3/ Atmosphere: 3/ Cost for two (excluding drinks): RMB
