Dine in luxury(noblesse.com)
Updated: 2006-11-15 09:30 Gui Hua Lou (sweet-scented osmanthus building) is located in the Pudong Shangri-la Hotel, featuring dishes from Guangdong, Shanghai and Sichuan. Its large hall and five private rooms can accommodate 160 guests simultaneously. The restaurant was created a fashionable and contemporary environment combining traditional Chinese elements with modern style. The centerpiece of their design is undoubtedly a huge red dragon-pattern wall frame that not only divides the dining area into two halves, but also serves as the luxurious hallway leading to the private rooms. When combined with the stunningly beautiful scenery of an ever-changing Shanghai and the steadfast Huangpu river, this restaurant, like everything else in the Shangri-la can only succeed in living up to guests high expectations. |
