Known as the most difficult bar to find in Beijing, but when you do manage to track down Eje Bar's unassuming doorway-by following the wall of the Confucius temple-the rewards are instant.

There is a real bustle to the place and friends can compose Confuciusisms with the help of an enormous bookshelf. Daily 2pm-midnight.
