Every city has one or two exceptional romantic dining venues, and in Shanghai the unsurpassable location for a candlelit dinner or wedding proposal is undoubtedly the Cupola. Situated in the small tower atop of Three on the Bund, its inimitable setting and decor have made it world famous as the ultimate location for an intimate date, the exclusive upper level having room for just two Travel+Leisure magazine judged it to be one of the top fifty most romantic spots in the world.

This year an auction will be held for Valentine's Night Dinner reservation, the winning couple also obtaining a chauffer-driven Bentley at their beck and call and gifts from Hugo Boss. Each of the Three on the Bund's restaurants will present a special dish as part of the Valentine's meal, and Jean Georges' sommelier will select a wine from the finest their outstanding cellar has to offer. Following the candlelit dinner, the Bentley will drive the couple to The Westin Bund Center Shanghai. A photographer has been specially arranged to create an album by which to remember this special evening. All benefits from the auction will go toward a charity fund that will provide the handicapped of China and other countries with wheelchairs.
