Australian Lamb specialFrom the traditional Chinese medicine's point of view, the cold season is the best time to eat lamb, which supposedly raises the energy and spirit in people's body.

Epicure on 45, the revolving restaurant at the Radisson Hotel Shanghai New World is presenting a selection of Australian lamb dishes during March 2007, offering gourmets a delicious speciality from "down under."

The Australian Lamb menu consists of 6 dishes prepared in Western, Japanese and Indian style, including Carpaccio of lamb with truffle oil, marinated mushrooms and garden greens in parmesan basket, Lamb and barley soup cooked with vegetables and dark beer, Roasted lamb shank with fresh herbs on garlic potato mash, fresh vegetables and shallot jus, Tandoori double cut lamb chops with sweet potatoes, vegetables and mint sauce, Teriyaki basted lamb loin, braised potatoes and fresh vegetables, and Braised lamb stew, fettuccine noodles, mushrooms, bacon and spring vegetables. This special menu is served along side the a la carte menu and available at lunch and dinner.
