As one of Shanghai's main shopping streets, West Nanjing Road gets its fame nationally as early as 1930s. It is said, those haven't been to Shanghai before like shop at the road, while native Shanghai people do shopping in Huaihai Road (another shopping street in Shanghai.) As more and more luxurious brands come to Shanghai, there are more choices.

NO.1. I.T. from Hongkong

I.T. is unique in that it houses so many top brands, from GUCCI, CHANEL and PRADA to Sonia Rykiel, Missoni and Drie Van Norten. There are also some dresses you'll not find elsewhere in Shanghai, even in other outlets of the same brands. I.T.'s opening hours begin from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m., later than other department stores.

NO.2. Plaza 66
This super mall is one of Shanghai's biggest. There are several luxury brand shops, such as Louis Vuitton, Prada, Celine, Versace and Christian Dior, as well as locally-owned boutiques. The first floor is more conspicuous, where lots of top brands have there flag stores.

NO.3 Maison Mode

Differet from I.T. and Plaza 66, Maison Mode has a longer history. Situated inHuaihai Road, the mall was called "Nobel's Shop" when it first opened. Compared with other malls, Maison Mode has more sophisticated style, favored by lots of middle-aged.

NO.4 Jingjiang Dickson Center

Dickson Center focuses on men's wear. It is located between Changle Road and Maoming Road, where there are lots of small shops around.

NO.5 CITIC Square

Compared with Plaza 66, CITIC Square doesn't house so many luxurious brands, maybe because they situate just next door. Cartier is on the first floor.
