Relaxing drinks

Laid-back, comfortable and cheap, this little bar, easily missed within what we like to call "Little Japan," is indeed a great place for an after-work chilled-out drink.

Relaxing drinks

Lounge on the beige couches, and sip on your favorite beer or spirit-and-mixer for an extremely reasonable RMB 15-25 a pop. The bar's playlist is unpretentious and sociable- you can talk. The customers share the music's vibe, being extremely laid-back and pleasant; several have already become regulars, commemorating their moment by adding their portrait to one of the bar's walls.

In addition, if you feel like rockin', there's a couple of TVs, which-if needed be-will snap into karaoke mode before you even finish saying the word.

So, next time you're done with that post-8pm meeting in Xujiahui, remember to stop by the new Crib, order yourself a cheap drink, and chill. Perfect For: a relaxed after-work drink.
