A lovely escapeThe latest Coffee Tree is in the fabulous Art Deco-inspired Ferguson Lane, which promises to be a great destination in the future with a spa, flower shop, French bistro, wine bar and design boutique opening soon.

The food here is inspired without being pretentious and the wine list complements the food beautifully. We enjoyed a vegetable soup and goulash, lasagna (or quiche lorraine) and salad served with freshly baked German brown bread or baguette (RMB 60). Ingredients are sourced locally, and the service is efficient and friendly. In the evening, choose from a platter of antipasti (RMB 145), pizza or a yummy panini stuffed with salami, cheese and sun dried tomatoes (RMB 42). Top it off with a delicious apple-cheese crumble cake with fresh cream (RMB 25) or the delicious squidgy chocolate cake (RMB 20).

We'll be back when the weather is warmer to relax and mingle in the outdoor seating area. Perfect For: a meeting with family, friends or colleagues.
