Kala's Hot Dogs and Saladhas moved to Underground Level 1 at Shin Kong Palace, as a much smaller food stand compared to its original size at the east gate of Tsinghua University. The stand offers New York Dogs, Louisiana hot link, Polish sausage and German sausage, priced 15-25 yuan, as well as relishes or sauerkraut, at an additional 3 yuan. Because of cooking limitations, salad is temporarily unavailable.

Meanwhile there are quite a few other bigger bread and cake stores on the underground level, as well as snack stands and restaurants that offer a good quick bite at lunch.
