Through gradually adopting innovative training methods and strengthening close cooperation with UNESCO Headquarters, cluster offices and academic institutions, CRIHAP is committed to the implementation of capacity-building strategies through outstanding efforts. She thanked CRIHAP for involving as many communities as possible to safeguard and transmit intangible cultural heritage, enhancing the awareness of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding, and enabling relevant stakeholders to make efforts to understand the importance of intangible cultural heritage safeguarding.
Mr. Wang Fuzhou, Vice-President of the Chinese National Academy of Arts and Director-General of China National Centre for Safeguarding Intangible Cultural Heritage, remarked that CRIHAP has continued to effectively carry out intangible cultural heritage training activities in the spirit of the Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage 2003 (2003 Convention), and can systematically promote the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage in light of the new trend of UNESCO in safeguarding intangible cultural heritage. In the future, CRIHAP should continue to strengthen theoretical understanding of intangible cultural heritage and the connotation of heritage, and develop training ideas to higher and deeper levels.
